Our vision is to produce "An Islamic Environment for Learning" where our kids of today will be a Leader and Imam of tomorrow. Hamzah Science Academy is committed to producing an Islamic atmosphere in which learning takes place and it is expected that the management, teachers, and service givers in the School will exhibit visible Muslim characteristics and incorporate them into the curriculum in a holistic manner to enable the children to learn about Islamic values.
ABOUT OUR SCHOOL
Hamzah's academic program offers a strong and broad foundation in the arts, humanities, mathematics, natural sciences and through interdisciplinary and multidisciplinary studies. The Academy's extensive and rigorous curriculum, along with its varied approach to teaching, prepares students superbly for intellectual inquiry in college and beyond.
Hamzah Science Academy offers a strong and broad foundation in the STEAM courses (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Math) through interdisciplinary and multidisciplinary studies based on strong Islamic principles. Academy's extensive and rigorous curriculum, along with its varied approach to teaching, prepares students to excel in their higher education. Hamzah Science Academy is based on three basic principles:
TA-LEEM: to educate children by engaging them at all learning levels and abilities, utilizing all of their sensory skills, and providing the most up-to-date curriculum and classroom technology available.
TAR-BIYAH: to develop all students by having faculty and staff who nurture the highest Islamic values and constantly teach children, by example, how to be strong Muslims and community members.
TAZKIYA: to purify the hearts and minds of students by promoting spiritual as well as physical wellbeing through a foundation of proper Islamic values.
Students are exposed to core subjects such as Math, Language Arts, Social Studies, Science, Art and Physical Education starting from Pre-K. Quran and Islamic studies are taught as separate subjects with an emphasis on memorization, reading and developing an understanding of Islam.
